Melissa De La O, Au.D.

Audiologist

Melissa De La O, Au.D. is a licensed audiologist through the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Originally from Grand Terrace, California, she relocated to Monroe, Louisiana in 2018.

Dr. De La O earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University and completed her Doctor of Audiology at Louisiana Tech University. She completed her clinical residency at The Ear, Nose & Throat Center, AMC in Shreveport, Louisiana. She then spent several years practicing in an ENT medical setting, where she refined her expertise in diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing.

A proud United States Army veteran, Dr. De La O brings dedication, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to her work. She is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with the sounds of their daily lives—especially the voices of the people they love most.

Outside the clinic, Dr. De La O enjoys spending time with her husband, her family, and her two cats. She loves relaxing with good television and going on cruises whenever she can.
